Replacing an ECOairflow pad is simple. Open the filter, lift out the old one-piece pad, drop a new one in, close it up. No rinsing, no rebuilding, no specialised tools, and the spent pad is recyclable as post-consumer waste.
One pad, not a whole filter
The aluminum frame stays in the unit. A loaded pad lifts out in one piece and a fresh pad drops into the channel.

Good to knowECOairflow units use Electronic Polarization Filtration to charge particles, which the special loose-weave pad then attracts. HEPA uses a tight pleated weave to sieve particles mechanically. This works but creates much higher static pressure drop. Independent comparison testing showed EPF capture down to .001 µm, finer than HEPA at the same size, at a fraction of the pressure penalty.
No. Every ECOairflow filter is independently certified by ETL as compliant with UL2998, the Zero Ozone Standard. The hermetically sealed electronics never produce ions or corona discharge, and device ozone emission is held below .0005 ppm.
